Frank J. Niemiec graduated from King's College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania in 1968 with a BA in History. In 1973 he graduated from the University of Toledo where he obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law. While at the University of Toledo, he was a member of the law review.

Frank has engaged in the practice of law in the Towanda area since 1973. From 1976 to 1979 he was the Bradford County Assistant District Attorney. He practices law generally with a concentration in Personal Injury law, Domestic law, and Real Estate law. Frank is one of the principals of First Abstract. Frank is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a licensed title agent with the PA Department of Insurance. Frank, along with Mark Smith, handles the managerial aspects of First Abstract.
